Our Story

Uplifting Beauty was founded by Candice Wingate in 2022, with one clear mission: to help women rise—from survival to purpose, shame to identity, and from striving to surrender. 

Our ministry is rooted in the belief that true beauty begins within. After walking through a 12-year battle with depression, low self-esteem, postpartum hair loss, and multiple suicide attempts, Candice encountered a life-altering truth:
Her identity was never rooted in her pain—it was always anchored in God’s promises. 

As a devoted wife and mother of three, she knows firsthand what it feels like to pour from an empty cup. To question your worth. To wonder if healing is even possible. But in the wilderness, God planted a purpose—and from the ashes, beauty began to rise. 

Out of that healing journey, Candice authored her first women’s devotional:
Trusting His Process: The Power of Loving Yourself the Way God Loves You—an invitation for women to embrace God's love and rediscover who they truly are in Christ.

But she didn’t stop there.

Driven by a vision to care for women spiritually and physically, she created clean, transformative Hair Care Solutions—products designed not just to restore hair, but to restore confidence, worth, and identity in every woman they touch.
